We commit to:
a. Supply only authentic, DRAP-approved medicines, medical devices, surgical disposables, laboratory essentials, and electromedical equipment.
b. Maintain strict cold chain management and proper storage conditions for all pharmaceutical products.
c. Ensure all imports comply with DRAP ELI (Establishment License for Importer) requirements and international quality standards.
d. Conduct regular internal audits and annual financial audits to ensure full regulatory compliance.
e. Never compromise on quality — regardless of cost, contract, or convenience.
Any employee found compromising on product quality shall be subject to immediate disciplinary action, including termination and legal proceedings where applicable.
2.1 Appointment & Probation
a. All employees shall be placed on a probationary period of three (3) months from the date of joining, during which performance shall be closely evaluated by the management.
b. Salary during probation shall be 50% of the agreed gross salary, provided it does not fall below the prevailing Provincial Minimum Wage as notified by the Government of Punjab from time to time. Upon successful completion of probation, the remaining 50% shall be paid as arrears and full salary shall commence from the fourth month onwards.
c. If an employee fails to successfully complete the probationary period, they shall not be entitled to the remaining 50% salary of the probation period, subject to applicable labor laws of Pakistan.
d. The company reserves the right to terminate employment during or after the probationary period if performance standards are not met, with one month's written notice or payment in lieu thereof.
2.2 Service Commitment & Notice Period
a. In view of the significant investment made by the company in training, developing, and equipping its employees, all employees are encouraged to commit to long-term service with HAK Medical Services (Pvt) Ltd.
b. Either party may terminate employment by providing one (1) month's written notice or payment in lieu thereof, in accordance with the Industrial & Commercial Employment (Standing Orders) Ordinance, 1968.
c. Where the company has provided specialized training, professional development, or paid for any certifications on behalf of an employee, a training bond agreement may be executed separately. Such bond shall be reasonable, time-limited, and fully compliant with applicable laws of Pakistan.
d. The company's provident fund contribution shall be governed by the Workers' Provident Fund Ordinance, 1971. The employee's own contribution to the provident fund shall under no circumstances be withheld. The employer's contribution may be subject to conditions as per a separately executed agreement and applicable law.
2.3 Salary & Increments
a. Salaries shall be paid as per the agreed terms in the appointment letter and shall not be less than the prevailing Provincial Minimum Wage.
b. Salaries shall be paid on or before the 10th of each month via bank transfer.
c. Increments for satisfactory performance shall be considered and granted at the sole discretion of the management committee, based on periodic performance evaluations.
d. No employee shall have an automatic right to salary increment — all increments are merit-based and subject to management approval.
2.4 Working Hours, Punctuality & Attendance
a. Standard working hours shall be as per the Shops & Establishments Ordinance and applicable provincial laws — not exceeding 48 hours per week for regular duty.
b. All employees are expected to report to duty on time and maintain regular working hours. Habitual tardiness without valid reason shall be treated as a disciplinary matter.
c. Where an employee reports late or leaves early without prior written approval, the company reserves the right to make a proportionate salary deduction for the time missed. Such deduction policy shall be communicated to the employee in writing at the time of appointment.
d. Unexplained absences of more than three (3) consecutive days without prior written approval shall be treated as abandonment of service and may result in termination in accordance with applicable standing orders.
e. Overtime work, where required, shall be compensated in accordance with the Factories Act, 1934 and applicable provincial labor laws.
2.5 Availability & Communication Policy
a. All employees in managerial, operational, and field positions are required to remain contactable during working hours and during any officially designated on-call periods.
b. Employees must respond to official company communications promptly and professionally during working hours.
c. Emergency on-call duties beyond regular working hours shall be designated in writing and compensated appropriately in accordance with applicable labor laws.
d. Failure to respond to official communications during working hours without valid reason shall be treated as a disciplinary matter.
2.6 Outside Employment
a. During employment with HAK Medical Services (Pvt) Ltd., employees are not permitted to accept any other employment, business, or paid consultancy without prior written authorization from the management.
b. Any conflict of interest arising from outside activities must be immediately disclosed to management in writing.
c. Breach of this provision shall result in disciplinary action including termination, in accordance with the Industrial & Commercial Employment (Standing Orders) Ordinance, 1968.
2.7 Transfer Policy
a. The company may, at its discretion and for reasons of business requirements, transfer any employee to or from any department, branch, or associate company within Pakistan.
b. Employees shall be given reasonable advance notice of any transfer in writing.
c. Transfer orders shall not be used as a punitive measure and shall be exercised fairly and transparently.
2.8 Confidentiality During & After Employment
a. Employees shall not disclose, divulge, or share any confidential information relating to the company, its affiliates, associates, clients, vendors, or employees — during employment or after its termination.
b. Confidential information includes but is not limited to: client lists, pricing strategies, import contracts, vendor relationships, financial data, and internal communications.
c. This obligation survives the termination of employment and remains binding indefinitely.
d. Breach of confidentiality shall result in immediate termination and civil and criminal legal proceedings under applicable laws of Pakistan including the Official Secrets Act and Pakistan Penal Code.
2.9 Commission & Outside Gains
a. No employee shall receive or accept, directly or indirectly, any profit, commission, gift, bribe, or any other gain from any person in relation to any business activity or contract connected to the company or its subsidiaries.
b. Any such receipt must be immediately disclosed and returned to management. Failure to do so shall constitute misconduct and result in termination and prosecution under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947 and Pakistan Penal Code.
2.10 Performance Evaluation
a. Employee performance shall be evaluated periodically — at minimum annually — based on work quality, attendance, punctuality, and adherence to company policies.
b. Evaluation results shall be communicated to employees in writing with an opportunity to respond.
c. Consistent poor performance after due process shall result in disciplinary action including termination with notice as per applicable law.
2.11 Personal Information Updates
a. Employees are required to promptly inform the HR department of any change in residential address, family status, CNIC, bank account details, or any other personal particulars relevant to employment.
2.12 Termination & Separation
a. Employment may be terminated by either party with one (1) month's written notice or payment in lieu thereof, in accordance with the Industrial & Commercial Employment (Standing Orders) Ordinance, 1968.
b. The company reserves the right to terminate employment immediately and without notice in cases of gross misconduct, fraud, corruption, forgery, theft, or serious breach of any company policy — subject to due inquiry process as required by law.
c. On separation, all company property, documents, devices, and confidential information must be returned immediately.
d. Final settlement shall be paid within the legally stipulated timeframe as per applicable labor laws of Pakistan.
2.13 Employee Benefits
a. 50% post-treatment medical facility contribution for indoor hospitalization cases.
b. Financial support through employee interest-free loan program up to PKR 100,000 subject to management approval.
c. Travel and Daily Allowances (TA/DA) for official field duties as per company policy.
d. Separate fuel and mobile expense reimbursement for designated field staff.
e. All statutory benefits including EOBI, Social Security where applicable, and Provident Fund shall be provided as per applicable laws of Pakistan.
2.14 Policy Modifications
a. The company may modify these terms and conditions from time to time in accordance with applicable laws. Any modifications shall be communicated to employees in writing with reasonable advance notice and shall be binding on all employees.
b. No modification shall reduce any statutory right or benefit guaranteed under the laws of Pakistan.
2.15 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
a. All employment terms, conditions, and disputes are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan including the Industrial & Commercial Employment (Standing Orders) Ordinance 1968, Factories Act 1934, Workers' Provident Fund Ordinance 1971, Minimum Wages Ordinance 1961, and all applicable provincial labor laws.
b. In the event of any dispute concerning employment, it shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
All employees, contractors, and representatives of HAK Medical Services (Pvt) Ltd. are required to conduct themselves with the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and respect at all times.
Employees must:
a. Represent the company with dignity and professionalism in all interactions with clients, vendors, government officials, and the public.
b. Dress appropriately and maintain a professional appearance during working hours and official engagements.
c. Respect all colleagues regardless of rank, gender, religion, or ethnicity.
d. Protect company assets, information, and intellectual property at all times.
e. Never make unauthorized commitments or agreements on behalf of the company.
Employees must NOT:
a. Engage in any activity that creates a conflict of interest with the company.
b. Share confidential company information with any third party without written authorization.
c. Use company resources for personal gain or unauthorized purposes.
d. Engage in harassment, discrimination, or any form of workplace misconduct.
Violation of this code shall result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
HAK Medical Services (Pvt) Ltd. is committed to transparent, fair, and legally compliant procurement practices in all its purchasing activities.
a. All procurement must be authorized by the designated approving authority as per the company's approval matrix.
b. Procurement of medicines and medical devices must comply with DRAP regulations and applicable import/export laws of Pakistan.
c. Vendor selection shall be based on merit, quality, price competitiveness, and regulatory compliance — never on personal relationships or kickbacks.
d. All purchase orders must be documented with proper invoices, delivery challans, and inspection reports.
e. No employee shall accept gifts, commissions, or any form of benefit from vendors or suppliers.
f. Any procurement irregularity, bid manipulation, or forged documentation shall be immediately reported to the CEO and relevant authorities.
HAK Medical Services (Pvt) Ltd. maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against all forms of corruption, bribery, and fraud.
a. No employee, agent, or representative of the company shall offer, give, receive, or solicit any bribe, kickback, or improper payment in any form — whether cash, gifts, hospitality, or otherwise.
b. All financial transactions must be transparent, documented, and conducted through proper banking channels.
c. Any employee involved in financial fraud, cheque fraud, forgery, or misappropriation of company funds shall be immediately terminated and prosecuted under applicable laws of Pakistan.
d. The company reserves the right to pursue full legal action against any person found guilty of corruption or fraud, including filing FIR, civil suits, and reporting to NAB/FIA where applicable.
All employees and associates of HAK Medical Services (Pvt) Ltd. are bound by strict confidentiality obligations regarding company information.
a. Confidential information includes but is not limited to: client lists, vendor agreements, pricing strategies, import contracts, foreign principal relationships, financial data, and internal communications.
b. No confidential information shall be shared with any third party, competitor, or unauthorized person during or after employment.
c. All employees are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) upon joining the company.
d. Breach of confidentiality shall result in immediate termination and legal proceedings under applicable laws of Pakistan.
This obligation survives the termination of employment and remains binding indefinitely.
HAK Medical Services (Pvt) Ltd. is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and secure working environment for all employees, visitors, and stakeholders.
a. All employees must comply with health and safety regulations applicable to their workplace and duties.
b. Proper handling, storage, and disposal of pharmaceutical products and medical devices must be followed at all times as per DRAP guidelines.
c. Any workplace accident, injury, or hazard must be reported immediately to the supervisor and documented.
d. The company shall provide necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.
e. Regular health and safety inspections shall be conducted at all company premises and pharmacy locations.
HAK Medical Services (Pvt) Ltd. encourages all employees to report any suspected wrongdoing, misconduct, fraud, or violation of company policy without fear of retaliation.
a. Any employee who in good faith reports a genuine concern shall be protected from victimization, harassment, or unfair treatment.

c. All reports shall be treated with strict confidentiality and investigated promptly.
d. False or malicious reports made in bad faith shall themselves be subject to disciplinary action.
Legal Notice: All policies published on this page constitute official company policy of HAK Medical Services (Pvt) Ltd. (SECP Inc. No. 0142738). These policies are legally binding on all employees, contractors, and associates. No person may claim ignorance of these policies as a defense. These policies are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these policies shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
